As I drove on to the beach imagine my smile at seeing a herd of white horses and a sunny sky, I rigged up my 6.5 as others started arriving. As i rigged up my sail I noticed a 14" gash near the head (Bummer) I taped it up and carried on.

After 2 reachs I came in to change down to a 5.5 as the wind had picked up a few knots and I was getting mashed.

The 5.5 is a new sail and all seemed well, claimed first (and only) 2 jibe's and scored a great jump, however, after about an hour and a half I thought I should put on some more downhaul as I felt well overpowered.

Next calamity, a 40mm hole on the front of the board turning my "bat wing nose" into a F****ed wing nose, I dont know how long I had been sailing with the damaged nose so it was well soggy :@(

Board and sail are now being repaired, the session would have scored four stars, but I will have to knock off a star to cover the repair costs.
